Boutique Commercial Real Estate law firm in the museum district of Houston, Texas seeks experienced associate attorney with strong drafting and negotiating abilities and can close commercial real estate transactions.

Please note that the firm does not handle any litigation, residential transactions, or other matters unrelated to commercial real estate transactions.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive contract drafting with the ability to negotiate and close transactions, for acquisitions, dispositions, loans and leasing.
• Closed numerous transactions in a law firm environment, minimum of 25+
• Experience with real estate related corporate formations, and joint ventures is a plus.
• Commercial retail lease drafting with a minimum of 25+, preferably for landlords with variety of tenants
• Experience with negotiating loan documents for borrowers, with Fannie and Freddie Mac is a plus
• Experience with development deals is a plus, but not a requirement

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years recent as a commercial real estate transactional attorney – preferably in a law firm environment.
• Experience drafting and negotiating numerous Purchase and Sale Agreements and Leases
• Texas Bar license
