    **Law Firm Management experience is required.**

    A highly reputed law firm with several locations is seeking a Director of Operations & Human Resources onsite to join its leadership team. The ideal candidate must be a seasoned HR/Operations professional with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. The candidate should have a strategic mindset to align operations and HR initiatives with the firm's goals while having a deep understanding of legal industry practices.

    The Director will report directly to the Management Committee and work closely with department heads, including IT, Accounting/CFO, and Marketing, to ensure the effective implementation of programs, policies, and procedures. The Director will supervise an HR generalist and other administrative staff, along with the legal support staff of over 50 personnel.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate should have a large law firm management background in areas such as operations, recruitment, employee relations, employment laws, performance management, compliance, risk management, payroll and benefits, diversity, leadership and development, business insurance, reporting, budgeting, and facilities. The candidate should be active in their professional development, staying up to date on legal industry trends and employment laws by being a part of relevant professional organizations and taking part in continuing education offered by various organizations such as ALA and SHRM.

    The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources and law firm operations. They should have a command of employment laws, state and federal. Additionally, they should be able to travel out of state regularly. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or a related field, or equivalent legal career experience at the Director level. Certified Legal Manager (CLM) preferred. SHRM certifications a plus.

    The ideal candidate should have high standards of confidentiality, decorum, professionalism, and sound judgment with practical decision-making abilities.

    Law Firm Management experience required as a Director or Firm Administrator.

    This is an onsite role.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The company offers a salary range of $140,000 – $175,000, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience level.
