WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a Board Certified Psychiatrist, who is licensed in the state of California, for a part-time role with our growing clinical team. You will help to supervise a team of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) delivering both asynchronous and synchronous care via telemedicine to a population of adult patients stable on medication and primarily looking to manage their anti-depressant and anti-anxiety medication. This is an incredibly flexible job - you decide your hours and shift times.
As this is a new role within MOOD, the ideal candidate is adaptive to change and proactive in providing feedback to the management team on areas for improvement. We are looking for people excited to grow with us!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise Nurse Practitioners who treat our clients for anxiety and depression per state regulations and requirements
Conduct chart reviews for multiple NP’s
Be available, and flexible, to the Nurse Practitioner’s to answer questions, provide clinical clarifications, and escalate any issues to medical leadership
Provide on call oversight coverage for the current Psychiatrist / PC Owner when she is unavailable
QUALIFICATIONS
Active & good standing medical license in California (additional state licensure is a plus)
Board certification in Psychiatry
Medical Doctorate from an accredited medical school
Have previous experience supervising Nurse Practitioners in clinical settings
3+ years of direct care experience, exclusive of orientation/training
Able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per month to providing supervision
Comfortable using computers and video-conferencing software; previous telemedicine experience is a plus
