ESTABLISHED FIRM HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION Position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2 years minimum experience in public accounting. Candidate must possess strong time management and analytical skills, attention to detail and solid communication abilities. Strong technology skills are critical, particularly with Microsoft Office 365 and QuickBooks. Experience with Lacerte tax preparation software would be a plus.

JOB DUTIES Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations Performing month-end closings Creating and posting general journal entries Business tax return preparations Individual tax return preparations Payroll processing

SKILL LEVEL Good working knowledge of QuickBooks and income taxes for complex engagements.

POSITION OFFERED Permanent Full Time - Year-Round, with extended hours during the busy season.
