Moon Juice is an esteemed health, wellness, and beauty company searching for a talented, driven, and sales-focused Alchemist to join our team. A successful candidate will have a proven ability to support management in leading the sales team to fulfill the vision of our high-quality operation, while consistently meeting sales goals and customer service expectations.

Reports to: Store Manager and Assistant Manager

THE JOB

• CURIOUS AND CREATIVE ALCHEMIST
  • Self-educates on Moon Juice products through our online education platform, and educates and excites our customers on the benefits of our products, is an expert on all things Moon Juice
  • Educates our customers on the benefits of the Moon Juice product line and offers suggestions for drinks, tailored to the customer's health goals
  • Completes espresso training, knows how to calibrate and work the espresso machine, steam nut milks, and concoct a delicious coffee-based drink
  • Makes lattes, wellness shots, and shakes from our menu, while also using designing their own shakes, lattes, and shots to suggest to our guests
• MEMBER OF THE SALES TEAM
  • Executes best-in-class customer service
  • Comes to work with positive, uplifting energy that translates the brand ethos
  • Keeps up to date on all current promotions, sales trends, selling techniques
  • Is a creative problem solver in approaching guest questions, concerns, and distress
  • Completes educational materials on time via our online education platform
  • Maintains a consistent check average $28+
  • May be asked to assist in training new employees
• OPENING, CLOSING & SIDEWORK
  • Opening: set up patio, calibrate espresso shots, receive daily deliveries, count inventory and put away stock with FIFO method, refills backbar supplies
  • Closing: break down patio, clean espresso machine, dishes, counters, floors, assess inventory to start happy hour, facilitate donations to Food Cycle for expiring juices, make proper inventory adjustments take out of the system to account for inventory
  • Contributes to maintaining a clean, well-organized work environment, follows operational checklists provided for daily and weekly team cleaning tasks
• INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
  • Checks stock regularly to ensure proper FIFO method
  • Makes appropriate inventory adjustments for expired product on a daily basis
  • Is able to submit Quality Control Reports to our operations team
  • Helps execute Weekly Recount of Juices, Milks, Daily Delivery goods
  • May assist management with Monthly inventory procedure
• ASSISTS MANAGEMENT IN COMMUNITY OUTREACH ACTIVATIONS AND EVENTS
  • May be asked to be a brand ambassador in larger company initiatives
  • May be asked to help facilitate in-store pop-ups

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

• 2-4 years of previous experience in a similar environment (quick service food or retail)
• Self-starter, flexible, and able to work independently
• Ability to multi-task, and change priorities constantly as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Food Handlers Certification and/or willingness to complete
• Must be able to work early mornings
• Must be able to work weekends
