    Events Assistant

    Summer has arrived and we are working with a prestigious company based in central New York, which is about to launch a range of promotional events across the city. Our client is looking to hire an enthusiastic, ambitious and driven individual to join their growing events team as an Events Assistant as soon as possible. So, whether you are looking for something fun for the Summer or a more long-term permanent position, we would love to discuss the opportunity with you.

    The Events assistant is an important role in pop up and promotional events. This is a highly competitive role. Joining the events team you will work to provide departmental administration, customer service and sales support and contribute to the planning and delivery of the events.

    Events Assistant Duties:

    • Assisting the events team with a high number of events
    • Accompanying the line manager to both internal and external events
    • Promoting events across all social media platforms
    • Supporting the line manager with logistical and administrative support
    • Assisting with creative decisions
    • Creating promotional materials for the events
    • Ad-hoc duties at events including, but not limited to, sales support, customer service duties and site set-ups.
    • Achieve campaign targets
    • Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion
    • Ensuring all branded items for events arrive on time
    • Any other duty informed by the line manager

    Required Skills

    • Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
    • The ability to work to tight deadlines
    • An excellent communicator both verbally and written
    • Willing to travel and flexible in terms of working outside of normal office hours
    • Professionalism at all times when representing the business
    • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
