Do you have a passion for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sizable data sets? Do you have experience using data tools to build and implement models, create algorithms and simulations?

Moonrise is currently sourcing for an articulate and results-oriented Data Scientist courtesy of one of our emerging clients local to the Chicago Loop area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with demonstrated experience applying methods to real-world data problems. Additionally, you should have a true passion for creating simple solutions to complex problems!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop processes and tools to analyze and monitor performance and data accuracy
• Build custom data models and algorithms
• Create and implement A/B testing framework and test model quality
• Analyze and interpret data using exploratory statistical and mathematical techniques
• Develop methodologies and processes for scheduling and prioritizing projects
• Perform root cause analysis and create resolutions
• Utilize predictive modeling to optimize and increase customer experiences, ad targeting, revenue generation, and other business outcomes

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or another related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Proficient with one or more programming language, such as Java, C++, Python, R, etc.
