    POSITION SUMMARY

With tens of thousands of Arizona families choosing home education, parents gain flexibility but often struggle to foster social growth and tailor curriculum. Moreana Boys Academy fills this gap by offering a safe setting where boys learn in a 1:6 teacher-student environment. Through lessons, enrichment activities, and curated experiences, we instill core values and practical skills while students work on their own pre-selected curricula.

Our Teacher's Assistants — known here as Coaches — build strong relationships with each student and family, guiding academic progress and connecting lessons to engaging activities. Unlike traditional teachers, MBA Coaches don't create curriculum, grade papers, or attend endless meetings. Instead, they enjoy autonomy and focus on mentoring a small, mixed-age group, empowering boys to lead, learn, and grow in confidence and character.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Foster a Positive Culture: Create an atmosphere where boys build friendships, tackle challenges, and eagerly return each day.
    2. Support Learning & Focus: Help students with academics — from getting started on math problems to staying organized and managing their workload.
    3. Partner with Parents: Earn families' trust by keeping students safe, communicating clearly, and contributing to a strong community.
