- BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM A US ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR INSTITUTION
- AT LEAST THREE (3) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DIRECTLY SUPPORTING A DOD PROGRAM OFFICE
_Preferred Education and Experience: _
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Completion of DISAM/DISCS courses, including International Programs Security Requirements (IPSR) and SCM-C (Security Cooperation Management)
- Experience in the areas of DoD acquisition, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), FMS and/or Foreign Disclosure
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Program Support Analyst will be expected to provide FMS program management support services to the FMS Division Director, Deputy Director, and Case Managers for a variety of tasks to include but is not limited to:

- Preparing briefs for Captain and Admiral level audiences complete with concise BLUF, explanations of issue(s) being discussed, and clear requests for assistance
- Brief FMS updates to Captain level audiences when the FMS Director and Deputy Director are not available
- Independently gather data and perform required analysis to answer internal and external data calls to inform briefs, memos, and white papers
- Coordinate and track MIDS FMS procurement requirements and develop a wholistic understanding of FMS procurement priorities to support data calls for force modernization and contracting actions
- Gather information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) / functional groups (e.g., engineering, logistics) and package the information in a manner that relays what the impact is to the FMS team
- Extensive meeting facilitation, coordination, and action item tracking
- Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to streamline processes related to procurement and delivery of MIDS products
- Spear head creation of new processes and SOPs where needed
- Serve as a liaison to other functional offices and advocate for FMS customers as a whole
- Develop and execute strategic plan for bi-annual FMS conference
A Program Support Analyst will be expected to have much of the following experience/attributes:
- Support the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Program Office (MPO) (PMA/PMW-101) in San Diego, CA.
- The MPO is responsible for the development, acquisition, delivery, installation support and sustainment of Advanced Tactical Data Link products and services in support of Navy, joint, allied and coalition forces world-wide.
- The Program Office primarily utilizes its Link 16 product lines, consisting of the MIDS-Low Volume Terminal (LVT) and MIDS Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), to deliver this capability.
- The MPO also performs programmatic, technical and financial management of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases containing MIDS equipment and technical services.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
_EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE _
- BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM A US ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR INSTITUTION
- At least five (3) years’ experience in a relevant functional area;
- At least two (2) years of experience supporting a federal Government entity or Fortune 500 company in a relevant functional area;
- DoD SECRET clearance or ability to obtain a clearance;
- Proficiency with the web and MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Possession of excellent organizational, listening, verbal and communication skills
Ability to leverage ambiguity, difficult personalities, and changing priorities to achieve program success
Self-starter and able to work with limited direction; can serve as a consultant and provide recommendations and drive direction of products
Proactive in identifying and anticipating client needs
Ability to speak and present to C-suite-level and Command-level staff
Ability to facilitate discussions with working staff and leadership to identify roadblocks, propose solutions, achieve issue resolution, and foster productive discussions
Possession of strong critical and strategic thinking skills
Ability to digest key points and documents to support leadership with decision making and discussions quickly
Strong excel or visualization skills required (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau)
Experience with and knowledge of DoD acquisition processes
Experience preparing briefs and other communications for senior-level military leadership
