    Job Description

    We are currently seeking an FMS FINANCIAL ANALYST to join our team in SAN DIEGO CA.  

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

    Candidate will support the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Program Office (MPO) (PMA/PMW-101) in San Diego, CA. The MPO is responsible for the development, acquisition, delivery, installation support and sustainment of Advanced Tactical Data Link products and services in support of Navy, joint, allied and coalition forces world-wide. The Program Office primarily utilizes its Link 16 product lines, consisting of the MIDS-Low Volume Terminal (LVT) and MIDS Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), to deliver this capability. The MPO also performs programmatic, technical and financial management of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases containing MIDS equipment and technical services.  

    FMS case financial execution, including establishment, allocation and transfer of funding in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).  

    Processing standard funding documents, tracking charges and payments, posting obligations and deliverables in Management Information System, International Logistics (MISIL) and financial reconciliation.  

    Preparing documentation for periodic financial status review meetings.  

    Identifying and correcting financial discrepancies, making recommendations, and preparing tools to prevent and correct financial and accounting errors.  

    Conducting FMS case reconciliation, financial anomaly resolution, and FMS case closure.  

     OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:  

    Required Education and Experience  

    Completion of a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or university  

    A minimum of three (3) years FMS financial management experience for Mid Financial Analyst position and five (5) years for Senior Financial Analyst position  

    Preferred Experience  

    Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain) 

    Completion of DISAM/DISCS courses, including International Programs Security Requirements (IPSR) and SCM-C (Security Cooperation Management)  

    Experience using the following systems: N-ERP, MISIL, Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP), Information Warehouse (IW), Defense Integrated Financial System (DIFS), Defense Case Accountability System (DCAS), Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA)  

    Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
