    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a DEFENSE HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MIGRATION (DHMSM) RADIOLOGY AND LABORATORY FUNCTIONAL ANALYST to join our team remotely. 

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

    • _Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements. _
    • Use professional concepts to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways
    • Help establish and recommend changes to policies (both business and Information Technology) which affect our clients
    • _Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.  _
    • Identify resources required for each task
    • Understands the clients business practices, market position and deployment of technology into Healthcare environments
    • Performs technical and business related research to support client needs, assist in the design and preparation for implementation, development and analysis of materials/ processes/ workflows to support the end user in MHS GENESIS
    • Works with team in the analysis, formulation, development and delivery of engagement material and results
    • _Supports the workflow analysis of new applications and optimization of existing applications _
    • Supports design and configuration as well as testing.  May assist with go-live adoption activities, as assigned
    • Interact with clients regularly
    • Work on projects at customer sites alone or with a team, as determined by project leadership
    • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors
    • _Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action  _
    • May act as an advisor to unit or sub-units and become actively involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems
    • May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to less experienced/nonexempt personnel

     

    OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:  

    Required Education and Experience   

    • Deep content knowledge of Cerner Radiology and Laboratory workflows
    • BS Degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience.
    • US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain ADP2/IT2 Public Trust. Federal Government requirement.
    • _Radiology operational experience _
    • Deep Cerner Radiology competency with some understanding of Laboratory modules
    • Skills in developing operational workflows
    • Skills in developing operationally relevant test scripts and supporting testing activities
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment
