Jr PEO IWS Acquisition Support Analyst
Job Description
We are currently seeking a JUNIOR PEO INTEGRATED WARFARE SYSTEMS ACQUISITION SUPPORT ANALYST (multiple positions available) to join our team in WASHINGTON, DC.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
PEO IWS is responsible for surface ship and submarine combat systems. PEO IWS is directed to develop, integrate, and field combat systems on all ships and submarines, including the coordination of anti-submarine warfare area capability development across other PEOs and collaboration with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) for Air and Integrated Missile Defense (IAMD), PEO C4I for communications and networks, and the NAVAIR PEO community for air control and identification systems. The junior PEO IWS acquisition analysts will provide the following support:
_ • Assist in developing acquisition documentation (e.g., Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Individual/Program Streamlined Acquisition Plan (ISTRAP/PSTRAP), Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence Interoperability Support Plans (C4I ISP)) • Prepare data for various acquisition reports (e.g., Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR), Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) reporting, Research, Development and Acquisition Information System (RDAIS), Contract Cost Data Report (CCDR)). • Review Procurement Request (PR) packages, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) initiatives, including developing tools for standardization • Prepare contract milestone metrics and trend analysis for PEO IWS leadership and in response to ad-hoc data calls • Organize and facilitate Integrated Product Teams, Technical Interchange Meetings, off-sites, working groups, and audit teams to support acquisition policy review; coordinate and draft program briefs and capture action items and meeting minutes • Review and analyze vendor deliveries for construction and execution metrics, including analysis of the critical path and impact to delivery milestones • Provide FMS support to track multi-country programs, including program metrics and status reports; Provide guidance and expertise on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) policy, restrictions, and current regulations • Provide acquisition expertise for Price and Availability and/or Letter of Offer and Acceptance packages in accordance with USN and DOD International Programs and FMS policies; assist in developing FMS case modification and/or amendment packages and input data into Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS), as required • Advise on PEO IWS related Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and Commercial Export requests _

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• A Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree plus two years of relevant experience • Active DoD Secret clearance
_ _PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Acquisition, program management and/or financial management experience directly supporting a DoD program office • Experience in the areas of DoD acquisition, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), export control and/or Foreign Military Sales
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
_• Strong oral and written presentation skills • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to develop alternate solutions • Proactive and forward thinking in determining client needs • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required _
