Successful candidates will be responsible for areas including but not limited to the following.ResponsibilitiesCreate new files and enter pertinent information into case management softwareAssist case managers and attorneys with organizing, filing, and maintaining client filesComplete check requests for medical records, accident reports, driving records, and vehicle ownership and submit for processingComplete certified mail cards and mail documents and cost checksCreate, copy, and mail form lettersCreate new and existing client foldersPerform general administrative office duties as neededAssist with other tasks as requested by the attorney or case staffRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal departmentHighly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skillsExtensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and type no less than 35 wpmBenefitsMorgan & Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful.
