ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a solid on-air talent to host a Monday-Friday on air show on a music radio station, as well as assist the station in scheduling contests, sending e-blasts, updating websites, contacting station winners, and working with the station apps and socials.   In addition to time spent in the studio, you will be out in the community at events and client remotes meeting our amazing listeners which can take place outside of your normal workday.  If you can demonstrate superior on-air, social media/digital content, and production, and organizational skills we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Host a Monday – Friday on air show on our Active Rock station, KHTQ-FM (Rock 94 ½)
• Spend time each day doing daily show prep
• Entertain and inform the listener audience both on the air, via digital content, and social media outlets
• Publish a minimum of original local blogs daily on the station website and mobile app
• Write Facebook posts along with other social media platforms
• Conduct on-air interviews, attend, and assist in all market cluster live events
• Produce commercials daily
• Conduct live remotes and appearances along with assisting in special promotions and programming activities across our group of stations when scheduled
• Consistently and accurately enter listener information into vPromotions

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• On-air experience
• Ability to operate radio/audio board
• Knowledge of applicable FCC rules and regulations
• Ability to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Production experience, with full knowledge of digital editing
• Ability to write and post website content to all digital platforms
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• A flexible and can-do attitude
• Experience with Scott Studios, Adobe Audition, VoxPro (G-Selector and vPromotions a plus)
