ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
We have an immediate full time opening for a TV Master Control Operator to be a part of the overnight shift. You'll join a top-notch team dedicated to the success of KXLY's programming which includes KXLY 4.1 – ABC; KXLY 4.2 – MeTV; KXLY 4.3 – Heroes & Icons; KXLY 4.4 - Start TV and KXLY 4.5 - DABL. You'll be working in the beautiful northwest, where you can enjoy a thriving city without the hour-long commute to work. Spokane is surrounded by beautiful scenery, lakes, and mountains.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- On-air switching, routing, timing calculation, program recording, and preparation
- Monitor network transmissions for quality control
- Generate and execute playlists on the automation system
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues prior to air
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Experience with on-air switching, routing, timing calculation, program recording, and preparation
- Detailed monitoring of network transmissions for quality control
- Experience generating and executing playlists on the automation system
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve programming issues prior to air
- Good program log reading skills to ascertain correct program, spot, and station break schedules
