ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

Let your creativity shine at KXLY!  We're looking for a smart, hard-working, engaged individual to be a part of our Creative Services team. The ideal candidate is a motivated producer with experience in both pre and post production.  You'll work closely with sales, news and promotions to produce effective local advertising and memorable messaging.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work with advertisers and KXLY Account Executives (AE) on commercial & video productions
• Create content for a variety of platforms including broadcast, social media, OTT and multiple streaming sites
• Shoot, edit, light and write quality and compelling content
• Assist in station sales & promotional events
• Schedule shoots, coordinate equipment, staff & outside talent as needed for projects
• Assist with other projects (promotions, full length programs, news specials, etc.) as needed
• Work with agencies,  directors, writers, photographers & editors to complete projects

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• High School diploma or equivalent; college education or two years relevant experience preferred
• Advanced skills with Avid and Adobe Suite
• Skills with Excel, Word, and other MS Windows applications
• Must have previous shooting & editing experience
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Advanced lighting and audio skills preferred
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to deal with people in different departments and companies effectively
• Professional appearance and great customer service skills
