    We're Hiring

    A Residential Maintenance Intern to assist the Lead Maintenance Technician and the other Maintenance Team Members with the general support to the apartment community's day to day onsite operations.

    This position is an internship, as a Residential Maintenance Intern you'll learn from the ground up day to day apartment maintenance work. This is a great opportunity to learn a trade and to also learn the multi-family industry.

    We're looking for you

    To help maintain the highest standards for our apartment community. Your role will be to support the maintenance team in moving appliances, assist with lifting or moving AC systems, and to assist with performing large jobs as a porter. You will be responsible for maintaining the curb appeal and cleanliness of the apartment community.

    We need your strong work ethic, customer service for our residents, and personal motivation to consistently improve. Your work in this job will directly determine our community and our resident's well-being.

    Some of your responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • * Picking up trash throughout community
      
      • Cleaning and re-stocking common area spaces
        • Office
        • Fitness Center
        • Pool Area
        • Dog Parks
        • Community Club Rooms
        • Other resident amenity spaces
      • Emptying and re-stocking pet waste stations throughout community
      • Pressure Cleaning assigned areas throughout the Community. Areas to include:
        • Sidewalks
        • Parking Lots
        • Breezeways
        • Stairwells
        • Exterior of buildings (first floor only)
      • Light, exterior work orders throughout the community to include but not limited to:
        • Replacement of light bulbs
        • Cleaning exterior light fixtures
        • Cleaning out air conditioning condensate lines
        • Painting of common area spaces
        • Painting/light maintenance of common area items like grills, dog stations, sign posts, etc.

    Above all, you will be responsible for staying in sync with the company’s and the community’s operating and safety policies and procedures and for adhering to federal, state and local laws pertaining to the operation of the community and Fair Housing.

    Experience & strengths you'll need:

    • Good communicator and listener with strong customer service skills
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • High school graduate; technical school preferred but not required

    This position makes use of onsite golf carts for purposes of property tours and inspections. The identified candidate is required to provide proof of a valid Driver's License in good standing for consideration of hire.
