Our busy hotel is looking for a detail-oriented person to set up and take down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are always available. You'll also need to walk throughout the dining area, refilling coffee and beverages, and cleaning up used plates and utensils. Our ideal applicant has experience in the food service industry and enjoys connecting with people. Must be available to work starting at 5 am. Responsibilities: • Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly • Disinfect and clean service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment following health and safety procedures • Assist guests with any questions or concerns that they may have in a prompt and friendly manner • Maintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as needed • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service • Cooking breakfast items in our Rational Ovens • Preparing food, including slicing fruit and vegetables Qualifications: • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Experience working in food service is preferred • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
