    Payrate: $18.00 Location: Crestwood or surrounding areas. Hours: willing to work from 8a-8p (willing to work 4-hour to 12-hour shifts)

    Job Overview

    HomeWell is seeking compassionate, reliable, and service-hearted individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a HomeWell Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering quality, non-medical in-home care to support our clients’ safety, independence, and overall well-being. You will provide assistance with daily living tasks, offer companionship, and help create a comfortable environment where clients feel respected and cared for.

    Responsibilities

    Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

    Assist with medication reminders

    Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs

    Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring individuals

    Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities

    Implement behavior management techniques as needed

    Provide companionship and emotional support

    Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment

    Skills

    Experience caring for bedbound patients preferred

    Knowledge of dementia care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

    Experience with transfers

    Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy

    Proficiency in meal preparation and following dietary guidelines

    Familiarity with direct support systems and protocols

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and their families

    Experience:

    Caregiving: 2 years (Preferred)

    Not required but preferred:

    Bed bound: 2 years

    Dementia Care: 2 years

    Hospice Care: 2 years

    Manual Patient Handling: 2 years

    Gait Belt

    Requirements:

    License/Certification

    Valid Driver's License (Required)

    Car Insurance (Required)

    Reliable transportation (Required)

    Ability to Commute: Crestwood, MO

    Ability to Relocate: Crestwood, MO: Relocate before starting work (Required)

    Work Location: In person
