Graphic Design Intern

The Communications Graphic Design intern will provide support to the Graphic Designer and also to the senior living communities we operate. You will be required to create sales and marketing flyers and other electronic graphics to support sales, marketing, and advertising efforts at the direction of the Lead Graphic Designer and the VP of Communications.

This position is an in-office position at the Morning Pointe home office in Ooltewah, TN.

Purpose of Internship:

The Independent Healthcare Properties Internship program offers an opportunity to get hands-on experience in quantitative ways. The employer will provide a student evaluation at the end of the semester. The form is to be provided by the student for internship credit. The student will provide an evaluation of the company at the end of their internship.

Eligibility:

Must be enrolled in a regionally accredited college.

Minimum Qualifications:

Efficient knowledge of and experience operating Adobe Creative suite

Be able to provide a portfolio of creative work for reference

Experience with WordPress website CMS preferred (but not required)

Ability to meet deadlines/needs of the business

Excellent communication skills

Ability to navigate Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Minimum 20 hours per week, maximum 30 hours per week.
