Title: Community Transportation Driver

Reports To: Executive Director

Qualifications/Skill Needed: The successful candidate must hold a High School Diploma or GED and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Should have excellent customer service skills and ability to remain calm in an emergency situation. Should have first aid and CPR training.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assist residents into and out of the vehicle

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Timeliness in driving residents to appointments and returning them to the Community

Maintain the transportation log

Exhibit good communication skills with a positive attitude and demeanor

Adhere to all Morning Pointe Policy and Procedures

Physical Demands: This position is classified as heavy, requiring exerting 50 pounds of force occasionally. Function requires some lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing, pulling, stooping, and bending. Visual and hearing acuity essential. Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions necessary.
