About the Role:

Jet's Pizza in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a motivated and reliable Morning Prep team member to help us start the day strong! You'll play a key role in setting up our kitchen for success, ensuring every pizza that goes out is made with the freshest, most carefully prepped ingredients. If you love a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare and portion ingredients including dough, sauces, vegetables, and meats for daily service

Follow standardized recipes and prep lists to ensure consistency and quality

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace throughout the shift

Properly label, date, and store all prepped food items according to food safety guidelines

Restock prep stations and communicate inventory needs to management

Assist with opening procedures and ensure the kitchen is ready before service begins

Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations

Requirements:

Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and consistently

Previous kitchen prep or food service experience preferred but not required

Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment a plus

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently

Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
