Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking a Project Designer for our Land Division in our Abingdon, Maryland Office. Candidates should have at least 2 years of solid experience in the following:

• Develop preliminary design concepts and detailed plans in the areas of site layout, water, sewer mains, roads and storm drain design, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, construction stormwater plans, floodplain studies, and grading plans.
• Provide assistance to other team members and management in order to accomplish department goals and objectives.
• Maryland SWM and ESC regulatory experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering, 
• Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
• PROFICIENCY IN AUTOCAD, CIVIL 3D, HEC-RAS AND/OR OTHER HYDROLOGIC AND HYDRAULIC PROGRAMS.
• Ability to read and interpret soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, construction stormwater plans, and site restoration plans
• Experience with water resources engineering, floodplain analyses, knowledge of wetland delineation, assessments and design.
• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
