    Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER with 4 or more years of experience for our office in Abingdon, MD.

    WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop preliminary design concepts, detailed plans and construction plans in the areas of site layout, storm drain design, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, construction stormwater plans, floodplain studies and grading plans

    • Read and interpret soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, construction stormwater plans, and site restoration plans

    • Interact with clients, contractors, and reviewers

    • Provide assistance to other team members and management in order to accomplish department goals and objectives

    WATER RESOURCES REQUIREMENTS:

    B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering (EIT or PE a plus)

    • Experience with water resources engineering, floodplain analyses, knowledge of wetland delineation, assessments and design
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D required

    Proficiency in HEC-RAS and/or other hydrologic and hydraulic programs

    • Maryland SWM and ESC regulatory experience a plus
    • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
