We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Collector to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing delinquent mortgage accounts, ensuring timely collection of overdue payments, and maintaining positive relationships with borrowers. Your expertise will contribute to the overall health of our revenue cycle management and support the organization’s financial stability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent communication skills, and experience in customer service within a financial or mortgage environment.

** Responsibilities**

• Contact delinquent borrowers via phone, email, or written correspondence to discuss overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans.
• Review and analyze mortgage accounts to identify discrepancies, pending payments, or potential issues requiring resolution.
• Identify and generate loss mitigation leads for accounts ineligible for reinstatement via standard payment options.
• Apply comprehensive skip-tracing methods to accurately locate borrowers with incorrect contact details.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment arrangements, and account statuses within financial software systems.
• Continuously improve knowledge base and skillset to ensure maximum level of customer satisfaction and world class customer experience.
• Perform other job-duty related issues as assigned.

** Skills**

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bi-lingual in Spanish
• 2 years of Mortgage Servicing Experience, or equivalent
• Minimum 1 years of experience in a Collections environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Products
