Responsibilities: • Prepare, collect documentation, review and close loan packages or loan files • Prepare and execute the transfer of lender funds for disbursement • Maintain and update loan calendar with active mortgage closings • Make certain of loan compliance for all state and federal regulations, as well as mortgage lending/ investor product and program guidelines and policies • Ensure loan closing is progressing while working in tandem with the loan processor and loan officer or funder, from origination to close • Assure all information is correct and signed accurately in the closing documentation, third party orders, closing packages, and loan files • Compile data and put into loan closing documents in a timely manner Qualifications: • Extremely organized with great time management and analysis skills is preferred • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are desired • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred • Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations from origination to post-closing; as well as an understanding of loan products such as Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA are desired • Must have MS Office experience, lending or title software, NMLS experience is a plus. • Two years of real estate mortgage processing, lending, or closing experience preferred, years of experience with banking, credit unions, or financial services funding also accepted Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly
