    Position Overview:

    Join a top-producing team! We seek a motivated and proactive Loan Officer Assistant to support our Sr. Loan Officer and the Processing department. This is a full-time, in-office position.

    Who We’re Looking For:

    The ideal candidate is a bilingual (English/Spanish) team player, a proactive problem-solver, and customer service-oriented.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish required
    • Create and maintain borrower files within the loan origination system
    • Manage borrower accounts from lead to contract
    • Skilled in taking applications, gathering information, and documents for approval review, including credit reports, tax returns, and other supporting documentation
    • Review files for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to standards, flagging discrepancies for the Sr. Loan Officer
    • Keep the LOS system updated with accurate and current information
    • Demonstrate excellent project management skills, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold company standards
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Must have or be willing to obtain an NMLS license
    • Previous experience in mortgages, finance or other related fields preferred
    • Ability to build rapport with clients
    • Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills
    • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
