We're hiring a mortgage loan officer assistant (NMLS License preferred) who will work directly with and support our loan origination staff. You’ll track leads daily, schedule appointments for the loan officer, and assist with new client inquiries. Work closely with new clients to apply through the online portal and collect the supporting documents necessary for the application process. Respond to customer inquiries on existing transactions as needed. Assist with pipeline management and work closely with the loan processors to ensure timely closings for all files. Responsibilities: • Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator • Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc. • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items Qualifications: • Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • Preferably 2-3 years of administrative support in a professional office or mortgage environment • Understand basic loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • Preferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required • NMLS License is preferred • Multi-Lingual is a Plus Compensation: $60,000 + per file bonus
