    We’re hiring a newly licensed Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant / Inside Sales Assistant to help our Loan Officers convert warm inbound leads, call back new inquiries quickly, and re-engage past customers for refinances and new home purchases. You’ll spend most of your day on the phone: following up, building rapport, gathering initial loan info, and booking qualified appointments, while keeping our CRM pipeline clean and moving. If you’re newly licensed and want a fast start with coaching, structure, and a clear growth path, this is it. This is an in-office position in our 8622 N Himes Ave office in Tampa, FL Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc. • Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service • Verify all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and report any discrepancies to the loan originator/ loan officer • Gather and coordinate necessary loan documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items Qualifications: • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills • Having an NMLS license is not required, but is preferred • Preferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required • Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. Compensation: $38,000 - $45,000 at plan compensation
