For this role, you will be supporting our New Orleans Branch of The Mortgage Firm. Our MLOA/Loan Partners are responsible for taking incoming leads, managing the lead tracker, and following up to schedule client consultations with the Loan Officer. In preparing the loan pre-approval, the Loan Partner pulls and analyzes applicant's credit information, and reviews income & asset documents. As a member of the sales team, the Loan Partner requests and obtains referrals from current and potential Company clients and follows up with prospects consistent with established best practices. Additionally, this position will provide administrative support to the loan officer and perform various loan servicing tasks as assigned. Assists in gathering and verifying the accuracy of documents received at the initial loan application, assists in getting files pre-approved, and prepares loan files for submission to processing/underwriting. This position requires an effective communication style that actively listens, seeks clarity, is confident, is in tune with nonverbal indicators, and is open to feedback. The LP1 has modern computer skills; Spreadsheets/Databases, Microsoft Word and Email, Social Media, and can adapt to technological developments. Loan Partners provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and realtor partners in a fast-paced, team environment. The Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant offers a hands-on, personalized approach that nurtures the customer, creating and cementing long-term relationships. Collaborates and demonstrates flexibility to support the branch and meet the individual needs of our customers. Responsibilities: • Manage Incoming leads for the branch. • Answer the Office Phone and Manage the Loan Officer/Branch Manager's Emails. • Manage CRM and Loan Officer Databases. • Contact the borrower and other sources in order to check/obtain items for the borrower’s file. • Verify and examine the loan application/customer documentation for accuracy at initial application for pre-approval. • Set all Loan Officer appointments. • Write Thank You Notes, be the director of first impressions. Qualifications: • Must have exceptional communication skills. Be personable and charismatic with clients. • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, CRM systems, and comfort with digital tools and platforms. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to detail. • High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information. • Team-oriented attitude with flexibility to support the needs of the branch and collaborate across roles. • 2+ years of mortgage lending experience as a loan assistant, loan partner, and/or loan processor. Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly + Bonus
