Job Summary As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you are more than a loan originator; you’re a guide, a problem solver, and a trusted financial partner for our clients biggest financial decision. At Home Advantage Lending, you’ll bring our brand to life by combining innovative lending technology with thoughtful, personalized service. Whether clients are purchasing their first home or restructuring an existing loan, you’ll offer flexibility and clarity through our partnerships with over 15 top lenders. This multi-lender model gives you greater control over pricing, qualification options, and compensation—allowing you to serve a wider range of clients while building your business on your terms.

Other essential responsibilities include the following:

Verifies the information provided on applications to obtain more information if missing data or mistakes are present

Communicates with customers to help them choose the best mortgage loan they can afford

Collects data from customers, such as their assets, salaries, debts and employment status

Interview applicants to gather financial information

Evaluate creditworthiness

Process loan applications

Report on financing decisions

Complete loan contracts

Assist clients in understanding the terms and conditions of their contracts

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current financial services and types of loans

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Loan Officer is required

Knowledge of lending products and practices

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to perform in a team goal-oriented environment
