POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for originating various types of Mortgage loans. Conducting initial pre-qualification interviews and preparing complete loan application packages and necessary documentation. Conveying product requirements and determining the best Mortgage Loan options for members. Meeting Mortgage Loan documentation and Compliance requirements, and production expectations as determined by the Director of Mortgage Services. Develops relationships and serves members, realtors, and builders promptly and professionally. Maintains relationships with borrowers and realtors throughout the loan process with open and clear communication. Assists Mortgage Loan personnel as necessary.
IMPORTANT NOTE
This is not a remote position.
This role requires in-person work at our Operations Center in West Chester, OH.
POSITION PAY
During the introductory period (3 - 6 months), the pay will be $26.28/hr. without earned commissions.
Following this period, the pay will change to $21.00/hr. with uncapped commissions earned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
A high school education or GED.
Additional coursework in Business or related field preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Understanding of the foundation of determining credit worthiness.
Knowledge of Credit Union loan policies, products, procedures, processing, and underwriting guidelines.
General understanding of secondary market transactions including FHA, VA, USDA.
Ability to acquire knowledge of FHLB, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac policies, procedures, and programs.
Familiarity with title reports, insurance, and appraisals.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Background in real estate preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong interviewing skills.
Excellent communication and public relations abilities.
Good analytical and financial skills.
Ability to operate related computer applications, calculators, and other basic business equipment.
Well organized.
