We’re seeking an experienced Loan Partner to join our team and manage the flow of mortgage applications from lead intake to close. As a Loan Partner, you’ll be a key player, overseeing pre-approvals, contract-to-close milestones, and ensuring exceptional borrower and partner experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of investor guidelines, proactive communication, and time management to achieve on-time closings and 5-star experience for all parties. Responsibilities: • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service • Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc. • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator • Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Act as the primary contact between our clients and our company and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressed Qualifications: • Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred • 5+ years of professional office environment experience as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant preferred • Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required • MS Office proficiency required; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team • Strongly preferred: At least 5 years of experience in processing, underwriting, origination, or a combination of these roles • Strongly preferred: Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) • Strongly preferred: Wholesale/broker experience • Local applicants are a plus : While remote work is possible, applicants located nearby bring additional advantages for in-person team collaboration and client interaction Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 yearly
