    We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage loan process, providing expert advice on loan options, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Mortgage Loan Officer will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their homeownership goals while maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism and being compensated with a generous compensation plan.

    Past experience as a Customer Service Representative is a plus!

    Bilingual is a plus!

    **3k Monthly Guarantee for first 3 months

    Commission per funding: 1-5 units 50bps 6-10 units 75bps 11+ units 100bps

    Duties

    Assist clients on the phone in evaluating their financial situation and recommend suitable mortgage products

    Originate, process, and close mortgage loans efficiently while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

    Conduct credit analysis and review borrower documentation to determine loan eligibility

    Negotiate terms with clients and third-party providers to secure favorable loan conditions

    Prepare and review contracts, disclosures, and other legal documents related to mortgage transactions

    Utilize financial software such as Quicken, accounting software, and specialized mortgage servicing tools for processing applications

    Coordinate with underwriters, escrow officers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan approval processes

    Maintain thorough knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, TILA requirements, and other relevant compliance standards

    Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally

    Stay current on industry trends, loan programs (including FNMA), and changes in banking or financial regulations
