We're searching for a detail-oriented mortgage loan officer assistant. This position will play a vital part in communicating with referral partners, current and past clients, real estate agents, lenders, and underwriters to nurture relationships and develop new business. You will facilitate the completion of real estate loan applications, collect, pre-underwrite, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process. Responsibilities: • Assist loan officers in managing client files and keeping records up to date. • Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide status updates. • Review loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and the pre-underwrite file. • Submit completed applications and required documents to processors or underwriters. • Track deadlines and ensure all loan-related milestones are met on schedule. • Schedule client appointments and follow-ups as needed. • Maintain and update CRM systems and other loan software tools. • Coordinate with realtors, title companies, and other third-party professionals. • Provide excellent customer service to clients and referral partners. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred). • Prior experience in the mortgage or lending industry is a must. • Underwriting experience. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient with loan origination systems and MS Office Suite. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Discretion with handling confidential financial information. Compensation: $68,000 - $80,000 yearly
