Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer Fully Hybrid Next Wave Mortgage is growing and looking to add Licensed Mortgage Loan Officers to support increased loan activity across our fully hybrid platform. An active NMLS license is required. This is not a build from scratch role. We have consistent opportunity driven by organic demand and strong referral relationships, giving loan officers the ability to stay focused on what matters most closing loans and building long term success. As a Loan Officer with Next Wave Mortgage, you will work directly with motivated homebuyers, guide clients from preapproval through closing, and leverage systems designed to support efficiency and scalable growth. Job responsibilities Responsibilities: • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Maintain an active rolling pipeline of funding per our guidelines • Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements • Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them • Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to Qualifications: • Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required • Understand a variety of loans such as: FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry • Office Suite knowledge and loan originating software such as Calyx, Experian, or LendingWise preferred • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university required in banking, business, real estate, or a related field Compensation: $90,000 - $125,000 at plan earnings
