    Are you a mortgage professional who loves structuring loans and helping borrowers get approved, but doesn’t want to spend your time chasing new business? Our high-producing team at Canopy Mortgage is hiring a Mortgage Loan Partner / Pre-Approval Specialist to help guide clients through the early stages of the mortgage process. In this role, you will work directly with Regional Manager Erron Saucier, a mortgage professional with more than 30 years of experience and a team that has helped thousands of families achieve homeownership. The Loan Officer generates the business, and your focus is on helping clients get approved and prepared to buy their home. You will structure loans, review borrower documentation, run automated underwriting, and guide borrowers from application through pre-approval and contract. Responsibilities: • Review borrower income, credit, and assets to determine loan eligibility • Structure mortgage scenarios and run DU / LP / AUS approvals • Guide borrowers through the loan application process • Collect and review documentation to ensure loan readiness • Communicate with borrowers regarding documentation and next steps • Prepare files for processing once a borrower goes under contract • Serve as the primary contact for borrowers during the application, pre-approval, and contract phase • Work closely with the Loan Officer to ensure successful loan structuring • Maintain excellent communication with borrowers and referral partners Qualifications: • 2+ years of mortgage industry experience preferred • Experience reviewing income, assets, credit, and AUS findings • Familiarity with DU / LP automated underwriting systems • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Excellent communication and client service skills • Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment • NMLS license preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) Compensation: $45,000 - $70,000 yearly
