Responsibilities: • Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers to evaluate their financial needs and recommend suitable loan products. • Assess creditworthiness and complete mortgage loan applications by collaborating with clients to gather and verify required financial documentation, including credit reports and supporting records. • Coordinate and order necessary property and loan-related documentation—such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, surveys, contracts, and tax records—to facilitate accurate and timely loan processing. • Maintain thorough and accurate records within the loan origination system, tracking each file from initial application through closing. • Compile complete loan packages and submit files to underwriting for review, approval, or denial. Qualifications: • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • High school diploma or GED required - Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred • 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required • Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detail • Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans Compensation: $48,000 - $54,000
