    Job Summary

    We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Mortgage Recruiter to join our growing team in Troy, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding top mortgage talent — including Loan Officers (LOs), Loan Officer Assistants (LOAs), and Team Leads. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the mortgage industry, an extensive professional network, and a passion for connecting talented professionals with exciting career opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    Source, recruit, and hire qualified Loan Officers (LOs), Loan Officer Assistants (LOAs), and Team Leads

    Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of mortgage talent through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, social media, and other sourcing channels

    Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidates' experience, production history, and cultural fit

    Build and nurture long-term relationships with active and passive mortgage professionals

    Partner with branch managers and leadership to understand hiring needs and team growth goals

    Coordinate and facilitate the full recruitment lifecycle from initial outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding

    Attend industry events, mortgage conferences, and networking functions to promote the brand and attract top talent

    Track recruiting metrics and report on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and time-to-fill

    Stay current on mortgage industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape

    Qualifications

    Prior experience in mortgage recruiting, talent acquisition, or the mortgage lending industry strongly preferred

    Familiarity with mortgage roles including Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants, and Team Leads

    Strong professional network within the mortgage or financial services industry is a plus

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and CRM tools

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred

    Ability to work in person at our Troy, MI office
