In-office position in Tampa. Provide day-to-day support to our in-office underwriting team—review loan files, verify documentation, and ensure compliance. Mortgage industry experience required; NMLS license preferred. Responsibilities: • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service • Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator Qualifications: • NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired • Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • At least a few years of mortgage industry experience Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 range at plan earnings
