The Staff Accountant assists the Senior Accountant with the routine accounting functions of the company. This position contributes towards our company goal by maintaining a curious nature and working to continuously learn and achieve next level work that is accurate and timely. The Staff Accountant will show initiative by accomplishing agreed upon goals and solving problems efficiently as well as demanding excellence throughout the department and company.

Typically, this position schedule is FT40, Monday-Friday8-5 - occasional remote work may be considered

Requirements:

Ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in accounting; candidates currently pursuing an accounting degree may be considered; Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite preferred.

Six months accounting knowledge (including degree path), based on area of expertise with knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Strong computer, technical and analytical skills

Must have strong work ethic with a willingness and ability to remain positive and focused under departmental pressures and deadlines.
