Job Description:

• Provide diagnostic assessments for students referred to special education.
• For students qualifying for special education services, assist in providing needed services through the use of consultation, assessments, counseling, problem-solving, and educational strategies.
• Counseling services to students, develop classroom intervention plans
• Complete evaluation records and special education paperwork and documentation required by the ISD
• Assist in determining eligibility and need for services in special education
• Other duties as assigned

Pay:

• Starting at $40+/hr

Position Responsibilities

The Licensed Specialist in School Psychology is responsible for Performing professional psychological work in assessment, behavior management, and counseling for students with emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, Autism, and behavioral problems. Assess the psychological and psycho-educational needs of students referred to special education services.

Position Qualifications

• Candidates must have their Texas School Psychologist/LSSP License

• 1-year school-based experience preferred

• Bi-lingual English and Spanish are a huge plus!
