Payroll Assistant/Payroll Clerk
Mosaic Human Capital Solutions is growing again! We are searching for a part-time Payroll Assistant to help ensure everyone is being compensated for their work. This individual will work on gathering all necessary information and data to ensure our payroll software is accurate and processing correctly. To be successful in this role, this person enjoys numbers, data, has attention to detail and has a passion for promoting business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with HR Manager and employees to gather all information pertaining to timecards and wage deductions
Update and maintain spreadsheets related to payroll
Maintain payroll system by entering employment changes, exemptions, deductions, insurance, etc.
Examine and edit time-sheets for accuracy and validity
Obtain and enter various data into different platforms
Resolve and answer any employee payroll-related issues and questions
Perform payroll related tasks in a timely manner to ensure staff members are compensated on time
Process and submit correspondence with state agencies
Protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Any other duties assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma
Prior payroll experience is preferred but not required
Paycom experience is a plus
Excellent data entry and math skills
Ability to multitask
Strong communication skills
Self-driven with a strong sense of integrity
