    TITLE:  Recruiter

    REPORTS TO:  Director of Organizational Development

    JOB PURPOSE:  To support the success of the human resources department by sourcing, screening, and attracting candidates to work for MBA.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    • Confer with management and supervisors to understand personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
    • Compete with similar employers by influencing, recruiting, and bringing talented prospective employees to Mosby Building Arts (MBA)
    • Work within budgets and guidelines provided to support the development of collateral and activities to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings
    • Manage and work job fairs and other recruiting activities
    • Make public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding MBA opportunities
    • Initiate contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings
    • Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with hiring managers
    • Nurture relationships with candidates
    • Provide excellent service to both internal and external clients
    • Support HR Team on projects as requested
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5 years of experience in recruiting, service sales and/or related field (trades) disciplines 
      • Experience may include marketing principles and practices, public speaking, electronic media and presentation program expertise, business development and client management skills
    • 2 years of college or certified training in related field a plus
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Demonstrate superb communication and interpersonal skills
    • Speak fluent Spanish a plus
    • Possess & demonstrate excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
    • Professional appearance and behavior
    • Own and maintain clean, professional, and reliable transportation to use for travelling, along with maintaining a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
    • Physically able to safely, frequently, and independently walk, stand, move/handle up to 20 lbs., hear, talk, view computer screens, and type
