TITLE:  Estimator

REPORTS TO:  Design Team Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE:  Support the Sales Consultants with project scope writing, effective estimating, project packaging, writing change orders, and providing excellent communications to all clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:   

• Estimate project costs using the company’s customized CRM/Estimating program
• Write scope of work for projects using company’s customized CRM/ Estimating program
• Write and estimate change orders for MBA team members
• Collaborate with Mosby Consultants, Designers, Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Vendors to create successful projects.
• Provide superior customer service & build strong relationships
• Continually develop new skills, knowledge and utilize technology to fulfill responsibilities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in the remodeling field On-site field experience is a plus
• 2 years of experience in job cost estimating for remodeling is a plus
• Working knowledge and understanding of construction plans, specification sheets, and commonly used terminology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Intermediate typing skills.
• Ability to successfully manage several projects at a time, stay focused and on task
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear; frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time; OCCASIONALLY REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO LIFT SUPPLIES UP TO 30 POUNDS.
