    Description

    The Human Resources Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to our employees and management team. This role involves managing HR functions, implementing policies and procedures, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to HR challenges.

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters.
    • Assist in resolving workplace issues and conflicts.
    • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding activities.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation.
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
    • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
    • Administers benefits programs such as wellness, life, health, dental and disability insurances, PTO, leave of absence, and employee assistance
    • Administer employee benefits programs and provide assistance with benefits-related inquiries.
    • Review monthly discrepancy reports from our benefits carriers.
    • Assist in the performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback.
    • Administer company Training App and program.
    • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans as needed.
    • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Maintain HR databases and systems.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in HRIS (Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Willingness to travel to other office locations (expected travel to be minimal).

    Where You'll Work

    Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. This position will require you to work a hybrid, on-site schedule, out of our Downtown Indianapolis office, but may flex your time out of the Castleton office.
