    Description

    • Design and implement solutions in Microsoft Azure and provide thought leadership on Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) project.

    • Design, Develop, Deploy, and Monitor complex Azure architected solution and data pipelines which may contain various required transformations of data using various languages and techniques, including but not limited to:

      • Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF)
      • Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
      • Microsoft Azure SQL Server and SQL ML
      • Microsoft SSIS and/or other Data Extraction tools
    • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.

    • Ability to analyze systems and identify problems migrating to Azure cloud.

    Requirements

    • 10+ years' experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse
    • 10+ years' experience with MS SQL Server
    • 5+ years' experience working with tools such as Microsoft's Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Power BI and/or other BI tools.
    • Experience with on-premises tools such as SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
    • Experience with solution architecture and development skills — will need to be able to deliver deep technical content and at the same time bridge that technical knowledge with mature, business discussions.
    • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT fundamentals and solutions involving tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
    • Should be proficient in writing advanced / complex SQL statements.
    • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
    • Previous projects should display technical leadership with an emphasis on data warehouse solutions.
    • Proven ability to design and develop tailored data structures. Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using SQL.
    • Ability to create functioning ETL prototypes to address quickly changing business needs.
    • Clearly articulate pros and cons of proposed technologies/solutions.
    • Certifications are beneficial.
    • Experience with Financial and Insurance Property Claims are beneficial.

    Where You'll Work

    Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. You will have the choice to work from one of our office locations, flex your time, or remain fully remote (in the U.S.).
