    Job Summary:

    The Moser Energy Systems Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting Sales by: (1) addressing any technical issues that arise during the sales process, including, but not limited to, sizing units, answering customer technical questions, giving technical presentations, (2) preparing, submitting and following-up on all customer documentation including NDA’s, proposals, lease forms, internal Moser unit reservation forms, (3) and executing in a manner which supports Moser’s go-to-market strategies. The ideal applicant combines deep technical knowledge with excellent interpersonal, communication and sales skills. This role requires a balance of technical proficiency, business acumen, strong communication, and sales skills to effectively articulate intricate technical concepts to prospective clients.

    Education/ Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent years of technical experience for non-degreed individuals in a relevant field is required.
    • 5 years prior experience in a similar industry is preferred.
    • Prior experience in technical sales or engineering or a relevant role is preferred.

    Supervisor:

    Senior Vice President, Sales, unless otherwise designated.

    Typical Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and develop tailored technical solutions.
    • Translate complex technical information into comprehensible terms for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
    • Articulate technical features and benefits of products/services to prospective clients through effective presentations and demonstrations.
    • Assess and comprehend client requirements to propose feasible technical solutions.
    • Effectively communicate client needs to the engineering team for future product enhancements.
    • Manage all aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
    • Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
    • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
    • Contribute to the creation of sales strategies by providing valuable technical insights and recommendations.
    • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, and other professional personnel.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client concerns, resolve technical issues, and optimize solution implementations.
    • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and standards to inform and enhance technical sales efforts.
    • Utilize CRM software and other sales tools to maintain accurate records, track progress, and streamline sales processes.
    • Actively participate in all required training and safety meetings.
    • Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to supervision.
    • Abide by all policies and procedures established by Moser Energy Systems.
    • Assist with any tasks required by the direct supervisor.

    • Must treat everyone equally with respect and dignity.
    • A valid driver’s license and the ability to work legally in the US.
    • Pass a drug screening.
    • Clean motor vehicle record.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to sit and/ or stand for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally.
    • Must be able to interact with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
