Mosquito Control Technician
Job Description:
Mosquito Hunters Technicians (aka: Hunters) get on-the-job training to become experts who apply pet-friendly and kid-friendly mosquito control products to our clients' landscaping, participate in marketing initiatives, and provide a remarkable client experience. Hunters will contact clients the day before their service, travel to each client's home or business, survey each property, treat standing water with larvicide , perform a barrier treatment to the surrounding landscaping using a backpack sprayer, communicate directly with the client if they are home, and leave written materials summarizing the treatment. This role is part-time, seasonal, with very flexible days and day-light hours. Successful candidates can start in April, May, or June and work through August or September. Requires a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week, up to 35, you choose! Average earning is $20-23/hour with the potential for more.

Requirements:
No prior experience necessary
Be at least 21 years old with a good driving record
Have valid driver's license
Have reliable transportation
Have proof of auto insurance
Be able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
Enjoy working outdoors during the summer
Have a cell phone with a data plan
Provide your own waterproof, durable boots
Be energetic, hardworking & reliable
Possess excellent verbal communications on the phone/in person & enjoy making a customer happy
Excel in a position of independence & responsibility
Be willing to take state licensing exam (We train & pay for this)

Our Hunters are client facing and must be ready to balance the skill of product application, with communicating and consulting with our clients to understand how they are using the property so we can treat appropriately. Hunters treat properties in the central and eastern part of Hamilton County, and most of Clermont County. We believe our customers are like friends and we build relationships with them throughout the season.
