Mosquito Control Technician Job Description:

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests

Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures

Maintain good customer relationships • Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements

Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles

Handle pesticides in a safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations

Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements

Comfortable driving to customer locations

Willingness and ability to work flexible hours

Willing to market the Mosquito Hunters service and grow your service area (bonus opportunities)

Mosquito Control Technician Timeframe & Location:

Part-time opportunities available (10-20 hours weekly)

This is a seasonal opportunity that runs through the end of mosquito season (generally mid Feb - end October)

Looking to hire ASAP to start the training process

No experience required, but licensed professionals may qualify for a signing bonus

Mosquito Control Technician Requirements:

No prior experience necessary

Be at least 18 years old

Have valid driver's license

Be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs

Be comfortable driving throughout the workday

Enjoy working outdoors

Be energetic, hardworking & reliable

Possess excellent communication & customer service skills

Excel in a position of independence & responsibility
